The Complete Typographer

The Complete Typographer was commissioned by Quarto Publishing and Jeremy Austen
was the co-author, designer and picture researcher for the project. The book has
230 pages and is divided into three sections: The Story of Type, a Directory of Typefaces,
and Working with Type.

Dutch Connections

The Australian National Maritime Museum asked Austen Kaupe to produce a high quality, limited edition book on 400 years of Australian-Dutch maritime links incorporating the papers from a symposium at the Museum. Our design included a stylish slip case, printing
5 colours throughout and classic typography.

Visual Flight Rules Guide

The Civil Aviation Safety Authority required an update to this 456-page guide for pilots. The printed version is inserted into a ring binder to allow easy updating of pages for future changes to the flight rules. It is also distributed in tablet form online for ease of use in-flight.
